An Open Style Cotton Caftan, Reversible, One Side In Light Grey Pinstripes, The Other In Dark Grey Pinstripes.

This one-of-a-kind piece was created by a Creative Space Beirut student for an up-cycling project using items from previous Creative Space Beirut collections. 

Karim Karam enhanced the design of a reversible open-style cotton caftan, featuring one side in light grey pinstripes and the other in dark grey. He brought depth to the garment by topstitching random geometric shapes onto the kimono, then carefully cutting between the seams to expose the layer beneath. To further augment the texture and add intricacy, he added patches of distressed gauze to some of the geometric shapes, creating a sophisticated interplay of materials and colors.
