Rooted in the passing of her mother, Chronic Grief reflects the process of, disrupting tailored silhouettes with torn, crumpled, and hand-dyed fabrics. Smocking, quilting, patchwork, and mending build layered textures where seams trace cycles of grief. Muted pastels shift toward lighter hues, while pierced garments and quilted lines convey rebellion and persistence, culminating in a charcoal-grey chest piece that integrates grief into daily life.
