Home is Where Mother is

‘Home is Where Mother is’ is a collection that draws inspiration from the Spanish movie by Pedro Almodovar, "*All about my mother," focusing on the connection between home and motherhood. The film presents an "Almodovarian" style in an eclectic, colorful, and vibrant manner, reinforcing the emotions of every character and the director's personal experience of losing a mother.  Renne Dick, a Lebanese actress who fiercely pursued her destiny in her career, resembled an actress in this movie, "Huma Rojo," who shared the same goals and exemplified true motherhood.

Using techniques such as patchwork, quilting, and draping, this collection serves as an illustration of the concept of motherhood and home, translating into "home-inspired" silhouettes and feminine geometric structures in a palette of deep, potent colors dominated by red.
