Inspired by the cinematic narrative of Almodovar's "The Skin I Live In," this collection, titled ‘The Core of Being’, disrupts conventional fashion norms, embodying the intricate journey of unraveling human identity. While the garments radiate femininity, when worn on a masculine form, a transformative narrative emerges, challenging perceptions and urging a reevaluation of established gender norms. Going beyond mere aesthetics, this collection purposefully delves into the authentic layers of identity beneath the surface. A conscious departure from the ordinary, it commands attention and encourages a fresh perspective at the intersection of fashion and identity. The collection relies on neutral colors such as brown, beige and nude for its palette, allowing patterns to lead the design process, resulting in malleable, dynamic pieces predominantly in jersey and gabardine fabrics.
